"Do Not Take My Box Away"

The mountains' trees where i use to live have been cut down and the mountain itself has been torn up and moved away. My families safe warm cave that has been our families home for generations no longer exist so i packed my sack and moved into the little green valley next to the big old swamp.

I found a comfortable and safe tree stump to call my own. The old tree had been firmly rooted into the soil for five hundred years. There i had friends and was able to find the most delicious treats that grew wild and free.
Soon there too terrible things started to happen, bulldozers came and flattened the land and dug holes for new large homes for people. Their homes would be surrounded with roads and parking lots and green lawns with no room left for my friends and myself.

So i packed my sack and headed into the swamp and with much searching i found an abandoned log near a little pool, It would become a safe comfortable home. I settled in, It was a happy place to live, I had new friends and there was a lot of delicious things that grew around me so suppers became rewarding experiences.

Soon the waters grew muddy around me there was the constant noise of trees being cut down and soon the big empty place started to be filled with all sorts of strange things. Things that the people from the big houses no longer needed or wanted and some called it junk others garbage and yet some rubbish. The more the dump grew the darker the water became and the fragrant smells of the fresh swamp turned sour and offensive. The stinky water soon flooded into my log home so I packed my sack and moved on.
